We purchased a car from Autosource with only 20k, we also purchased the warranty (thinking we would be covered).

1. When the vehicle hit 30k the engine went out on it, which started our long painful experience with the company. The warranty would not cover anything. The mechanic who conducted our evaluation informed us that the damage was from not being put back together properly from it previous accident. The owner of Autosource was very deceptive and would not stand behind his pile of *** car.

2. After 5k in repairs we traded the vehicle in on a van (non-salvaged)from them and was promised that they had since switched warranty companies (Integrity who is owned by auto source) and there would be no problems.

3. Paid 2500 for warranty, plus top dollar for the van. After one year we were so upside down in the van we made the decision to take our loss and trade it in to a reputable dealer. When we tried to get a portion of our money back from Integrity (yea right) we were told they would only let us transfer the warranty if we bought another car from Autosource. Needless to say there was no way I was going to do business with Autosource again. When all was said and done, we were out approximately 13k form our dealings with the company.

I have owned several salvaged vehicles with no problems, but Autosource is a very shady company.....Ask any other dealer what they think of them (you will get an ear full).

Reason of review: Warranty issue.
